Got a call today from 07472 132108. The person on the other end sounded like they were overseas and was going on about me having debts that weren't secured. Thing is, I've got no debts like that, I told them straight and then ended the call. Not sure how they managed to get hold of my number in the first place.

On Thursday morning, I got a call from someone saying they were from the Citizens Advice Bureau. I asked which branch, and they said London then just cut me off. Then on Friday, another call came in saying it was about unsecured debt. I denied everything they asked and they just hung up. I've since reported both incidents to Action Fraud.

i never pick up calls from numbers i dont recognise without first checking online. gave this one a quick search and am so happy i didnt answer. after reading the awful things other people have said about the caller's language, theres now no chance of this number ringing me again. seriously, why are some people so rude on the phone? disgusting behaviour.

Got a call from these muppets going on about unsecured debt that I don’t even have. When I asked how they got my number and what info they had on said debt, the bloke just told me to “f### off.” Honestly, couldn’t stop chuckling after that. Still, it’s mad that folk like this are allowed to ring people up with stuff like that.

Got a call from this number and the bloke had an Asian accent. He was claiming he was from the Citizens Advice Bureau, but something didn’t sit right with me so I questioned him. Next thing, he started yelling swear words at me and then just went quiet and hung up. Proper rude!

Got a call from someone saying I owed a debt, which I don’t. They actually knew my name, which was a bit creepy. When I asked them who I supposedly owed money to, they just hung up. Number’s blocked now. Total scam, and not even a clever one.

Got a call from someone saying he was John Patrick, sounded Asian, claiming to be from a credit investigation team. He said my name was linked to unpaid debts with some companies. I told them their info was wrong and asked to be taken off their lists. Then about two hours later, John Myers, same accent and same number, gave me the exact same spiel. Told him firmly not to phone me anymore, and he just ended the call. I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from a bloke who spoke with an American accent claiming to be from some International debt collection agency. He actually knew my name and told me I owed some unsecured debts. When I asked which company it was, he just ended the call. Also, a woman has rang me from the same number before, and once they even called me at 4:30 in the morning! Quite shady if you ask me.

Some dodgy lot from Pakistan have been calling me using loads of fake 0777 numbers, all to steal your personal info. They are proper scammers aiming to nick your details for all sorts of financial fraud. Best thing is to just hang up and block the number - never give them any info. Absolute scumbags, these con artists.

Today, I got a couple of calls. First, someone with an Asian accent rang my home phone claiming to be from a legal office about an accident. I told him to never call me again. I tried to check the number with 1471 but it wasn’t available. Then, later on, my mobile rang from what looked like a regular number. It was the same bloke, voice sounded the same, now saying he worked for the government. The number he used was 07775109067. Makes me wonder where these people are getting all these phone numbers from. Maybe a plumber or an electrician selling them off? It’s really fishy.

On 08/10/15 around 1:19 pm, I got a call from 07775 109067. The bloke said his name was Philip and claimed he was ringing from the government CAB. I listened carefully and then asked him to verify my home address, which he managed to do. Then I tried to check if he knew my email, but he told me to just hang up. I kept pressing him and then he started shouting, calling me a bloody nuisance and told me to buzz off. I checked with the CAB myself, and it definitely wasn't them. I've reported it to the police and they've said they’ll come by tomorrow!

I got a call from this asian lady who sounded like she worked in some call centre or something. When I picked up, it was like she was already chatting with someone else on the line. She asked if she’d reached (my name), then started laughing and joking with someone else in the background. Pretty weird, honestly.
