I received a call from someone purporting to be from my “bank”, insisting that they had halted a transaction of £600 heading to or coming from a so-called “overseas location”. I didn’t stick around to hear the whole spiel, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were fishing for my banking credentials!

Got a call from some young bloke who wanted to chat with M.I., that’s me. I asked who was calling, and he goes on about Tip Top Guttering. Didn’t even bother, just ended the call straight away.
