Got a call on my landline from someone saying he was from my internet provider, even knew the name of my road. He claimed there was some unauthorised use of my home WiFi and said he had to disconnect me. I played along, opened my laptop and brought up the command prompt like he asked. Before he could do anything else, I jotted down his name and number and rang my actual internet company. They told me straight away it was a scam.
