Beware, I think this was a scam! I got a call and the automated message said it was from HMRC about a tax fraud case linked to my name. It asked me to press 1 to talk to an advisor. When I did, the line went silent for a moment before I could hear typical background noise from a call centre. Then the so-called advisor asked me for my name and address to verify my info. I asked for an official number I could ring back, but as soon as I did, he just hung up on me. Definitely fishy.
