This call is definitely fake. Microsoft doesn’t ever ring you up like that. Don’t share any details with them. The number itself seems legit though.

Got a call from an Asian lady, sounded just like what others have said before. Didn’t hang around long, cut her off quick and blocked the number straight away...

Had a call from a lady with an accent saying she was from Microsoft, super annoying. Every time I hung up, she’d ring again, ended up calling me like three times! Eventually I just had to pull the plug on my phone to stop her.

I kept getting calls from this number like 10 times in just 5 minutes, all telling me there was an issue with my internet and they were from Microsoft. Proper annoying!

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was from Microsoft, saying my computer was hacked. I told her I use a Mac and called her out for being a scammer before hanging up. She called back twice more, staying calm and pushing that my computer was infected. I kept telling her she was a fraud and warned I'd report her to the cops. Seems pretty dodgy to me. The number goes to a Vodafone voicemail - so why don’t the authorities just block it and go after whoever’s behind it?

Got a call from an Asian lady saying my Windows PC was hacked or something. I told her I don’t even own one and just dropped the call. She kept ringing me back three times fast. Eventually, blasting Janis Joplin on the radio scared her off!
