some person rang me up asking all about my debts, saying the government would clear 70% of it. i just went with it and said i make about 14,000 a year and supposedly owe 32,000 pounds. the poor bloke sounded well lost after that. in the end, i told him to get lost cos it was obviously a con, i was just messing with him on purpose. hung up and blocked the number straight away.

I’m employed at a telecom firm and this is definitely a Vodafone number registered to them. I’ve gotten several calls from it and when I told the caller I was tied up with work, they cheekily replied, “Well, I’m busy trying to reach you.” I shot back saying, “You wouldn’t be so busy if you didn’t keep ringing me,” and then ended the call. I've already put in a complaint with Vodafone about their number being used like this.
