I got a call on my phone from 07718 779 728, and the person claimed to be from Amazon security, saying there was a £700+ purchase on my account. I told them I hadn’t made any such order. Then they sent me an OTP code and asked me to note it down. Next, they tried to get me to open the Amazon Anydesk app via the Play Store, but that’s when I saw scam warnings pop up, so I hung up straight away. I was a bit wary from the beginning anyway. Right after, I got two more calls from 07336 993 650 and 07774 245 652, but I ignored both. I’ve reported everything to Amazon now.
