So I answered and the person said he was from some credit checking team. Then there was another bloke on the call who weirdly said he hoped the first guy's mum was dead. Proper unprofessional and bizarre behaviour.

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming I owe money. I asked who I supposedly owed it to, cos I know I aint got any debts. He gave me some company name, but it was totally unclear. I kept asking him to repeat it but still couldn't catch what he was saying. When I pushed him again about the company, he said it was more like a department than a firm. Then when I asked which department, he just said "it's name-less." Told him to stop calling me and hang up, and he just told me to f##k off before slamming the phone down. Such a lovely conversation!

Had a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming they’re from a debt collection agency, trying to get my bank details. Definitely a scam.

Somebody rang me out of the blue today claiming I owed money. I asked for more info and he suddenly got really short with me. I told him straight up I don’t have any debts and he just hung up. Also, his accent sounded Asian.

I got a call from a bloke with an odd accent saying he worked for Citizens Advice Bureau and that the Financial Control Authority had forwarded him some file about a debt I supposedly owed. Didn’t buy it, so I just ended the call right there.

I've had calls from 07774152960 and 07774648301 recently. The caller said they were from the office of fair trading and offered a government scheme to clear debts. They were fishing for money details, trying to sound legit. Seems like they're getting smarter, and honestly, I worry people will end up falling for it. Not sure what their real game is but it’s definitely not to help you.

Today I got a ring from some lot claiming to be the Credit Investigation Bureau, and they actually used my name which made me a bit suspicious, especially since it was on my mobile. I told the woman on the line, speaking in quite clumsy English (pretty obvious it was an Indian call centre), that I wasn’t bothered with whatever she was selling or saying. She just cut me off straight away. That one’s definitely going on my block list.

So I told him the number belonged to a 13 year old and he needed to remove it from their records. Instead of helping, the guy started yelling and swearing at me, telling me to ‘f**k off’ or whatever. Then, to make things worse, I can’t ring the number back. Honestly, I’m not sure what annoyed me more - the rude attitude or not being able to get hold of him again. Proper frustrating!

I told him the number he called was actually my kid’s, like a 13-year-old, and said he needed to remove it from their list. Instead of helping, he just started yelling swear words at me, telling me to basically get lost! And to top it off, I can’t even ring back that number. I've been getting calls from this bloke who rings me from different numbers, just like 07778051144. It's always some Asian man, changing his name - one time he says he's Chris, then Dwane, then Tom. Total rubbish. I told him to remove my number and sod off. Proper dodgy scammers, absolute muppets! Definitely blocking him every time he calls!

Today I got four calls from 07774152960 and 07776162167. Yesterday, a woman with an Asian accent phoned me, and then today a man with a similar accent rang from some credit investigation firm. When I told her I didn’t owe anything, she just hung up and called back straight away. The number didn’t show up as known, so I tried calling the guy’s number back, but it went straight to Vodafone’s answer service. I’m definitely reporting these to Vodafone. They really should block these numbers.
