Had a call from a lady saying she was ringing from Barclays about a big discount on home and contents insurance. She wanted me to pay straight away without sending any paperwork through the post, and started to get a bit pushy and threatening when I hesitated. It was clear pretty quickly this was a con. I ended the call, but annoyingly they kept ringing me back, even late at night and on the weekend.

I got a call from someone trying to sell me house insurance and weirdly kept asking for my bank info. I didn’t feel right about it, so I hung up. But annoyingly, they kept ringing me non stop after that!

I've been getting loads of calls from someone saying they're from HMRC, telling me I owe money in taxes. When I asked them to send me something in writing, they started threatening me with legal trouble. I looked up the number afterwards and realised it was all a scam. Watch out for this and don't get caught out!
