Got a call around half past eleven, the lady on the line had an American or maybe Canadian accent and claimed to be from Amazon. She told me I'd just been charged £39 on my credit card and if that wasn’t right, I should hit 1. I ended the call straight away and went to check my Amazon account, found no such payment. This has all the hallmarks of a scam, right?

I ended the call straight away and then looked at my Amazon payments - no sign of any transaction like that. Could this be another one of those scams?
