Just wanted to update on my last post about that number maybe being Virgin Media. So I rang Virgin Media, and they told me it's quite doubtful it’s them since to make calls linked to my account, someone would have to log in first, and apparently no one's done that. They did share logs of calls from the last few days. Oddly enough, this dodgy number tried calling me three times in about an hour.

Got a call claiming to be from Virgin Media, saying they knew about an engineer scheduled to come out. They said they might be able to sort the issue on the phone first, but I told them I wasn’t available at that moment and asked if they could ring me back the next day (which is today). They refused, saying I'd just have to wait for the engineer’s visit. That felt off, so I contacted Virgin Media myself. They agreed it sounded dodgy and told me to report it. I told them I’d do the same. Definitely seems fishy to me.
