This bloke rung me up saying there was some dodgy transaction of £849 on my account, supposedly paid to a John Thomas in California. He claimed he could sort it but first wanted me to install an app so he could guide me through the process. I didn’t go for it, and then he started getting a bit rude, saying he'd just leave it there unless I did what he said. The call finished with him saying I’d probably want to check with my bank. Of course, when I did, there was no such payment at all.
