This number won’t stop ringing my phone, and whenever I pick up, it’s just silence. I swear, all I can hear is breathing, no one talking. Proper strange behaviour.

as soon as i answer and there's silence or a pause, i hang up and block the number. often it's just spam and no one actually talks. this one was a blocked number and when i picked up, no one was there on the other end. pretty typical for these calls.

There was a lot of noise in the background, I kept saying hello a few times, then I told them to either speak up or buzz off. They shouted something back and then just hung up.
