Got a call from a bloke with a strong Indian accent saying I’d won a PPI refund, which was strange as I’d only just put a claim in with Ascend Finance. He said he was ringing from Birmingham, working for some agency handling all the claims, and reckoned I was due over a grand back. Thing is, he mentioned that because it was a big payout, I’d have to sort out a new life insurance policy first. Quite hard to catch everything he said properly because of his thick accent.

I got a call from this call centre and the line was awful, barely caught what the woman with an Indian accent was trying to say. I ended up hanging up and blocked the number.

Got a call from a bloke claiming he was with the benefits office. Clearly dodgy, so I’ve blocked the number straight away.
