07517440827 claimed to be from a credit investigation team, but I knew it was a scam so I picked up then hung up once I realised. They kept ringing back nonstop until I answered again, and then started shouting all sorts of rude names at me, calling me filthy names and worse. Then they told me to get lost, to which I calmly said you called me and then hung up! Absolutely disgusting and impolite, definitely a scam number with awful people behind it! Best to not pick up at all!

Got at least 15 calls today from loads of different mobile numbers. Keep blocking them but they just won’t stop! Spoke to one bloke with a heavy accent and told him I’d report him if he didn’t take my number off their list. He said, “We’ll just ring from other numbers till you agree to sign up!” I asked, “Sign up for what?” and he goes, “So we can take your money!” Proper nightmare!

Got a call today from a guy who sounded foreign but gave an English name, Sam William. He said he was from some “credit investigation dept” and claimed I had a debt, which I’d never heard of before. When I asked for more details about his company and his full name, he got all rattled and ended the call pretty quick. Watch out for scammers like this around. Credit Checking Team keep ringing loads of different numbers, both mobiles and landlines. They’re always Indian and using English names. They call multiple times every single day. My tip? Either say you owe them over £100k and ask if they’ll write it off - it throws them off big time - or just tell them to piss off and stop bothering you. I didn’t catch what he said right away, so I asked him to say it again and he lost it, calling me stupid and then just hung up. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it! Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, said her name was "Angel". She kept telling me I had unpaid debts, which I definitely don’t. I played along for a minute but then told her to jog on. People like this deserve no respect. There are real vulnerable folks out there who might owe money and could get pushed over the edge by this. It’s awful. Shame on them! Got calls a bunch from 07908147941 and 07986276418, all talking with an Indian accent. Last call was from a lady. I asked “What’s this regarding?” and she just shouted “OH MY GOD!” before hanging up on me! Really rude, sounded like they were just following a script, couldn’t make out half of what they were saying. After checking what others said here, it was the same nonsense they told me, which somehow made more sense than their actual words!

Tried to ask them some proper questions but they got rude and just hung up on me. Don’t fall for this, just ignore them!

This number 07522010478 rang me claiming I owed some money. I told them I didn’t, but they kept pressing, saying they could sort it out for me. They even mentioned it was part of a government initiative and tried to get my personal info. I ended the call and blocked them straight away. Definitely just SPAM>>>SPAM>>>SPAM>>>SPAM...

Called me a few times from different numbers, kept telling me to buzz off. They did know my name, said something about a credit investigation bureau. I reckon it's an dodgy outfit not authorised to be ringing.

This lot say they're calling for the government based on some new law or something, but I couldn't catch all the details. When I told them it's hard to believe the govt would pay a company to ring about personal debts, they just ended the call. I've gone ahead and blocked the number and might even switch my phone number since I keep getting these annoying calls nonstop!

A man with an Indian accent rang me up claiming I owed money and that he could sort it out for me. I told him I had no debts, not since some problems I had in the 90s. Despite that, he kept insisting I was in debt and that he could help sort it. When I asked who supposedly I owed, he just said I should already know because I was in debt. I repeated again that I didn’t owe anything, but then he started getting rude, saying I must have debt and even hoped I’d end up in jail for not paying. I just cut the call there and blocked the number on my phone.

I requested to have my number taken off their list, and they abruptly ended the call. I've since blocked the number so they can't pester me any further. 07771458109 keeps popping up a lot, although they call from loads of different numbers. They used to ring our landline all the time, but once we got an answer machine, and I told all my mates and family not to pick up if it was silent on the other end, the calls slowed down from multiple times a day to just once or twice each week. Now it’s my mobile they’re pestering. Same guy with an Indian accent, and after I told him to get lost (sorry, but it drives you mad), he actually called me sad and lonely. Honestly, I wish there was a proper way to make them stop.

I've been getting calls from various numbers like 07771 and 07774, all telling me I have some sort of unsecured debt like credit card loans. When I tell them I don’t owe anything, they just hang up. I missed a few calls from these numbers and tried ringing back, but it either went to a voicemail on a mobile or just beeped out. Definitely seems like a scam, and the caller sounds like an African man each time. I've decided I'm not picking up if these numbers show again.

I’ve been getting incessant calls from this number, pestering me about alleged debts that I apparently owe. They address me by both my surname and my first name at different times, which is a bit odd. When I firmly tell them that I have no outstanding debts, they just respond with ridiculous noises down the line. The caller claims to be from some sort of debt recovery agency, or so they assert. It’s all quite tiresome!

They say they’re from the citizens advice bureau at first but then switch it up and say it’s the citizens advice department. When I told them I don’t have any debt, they just hung up on me! Definitely not the real citizens advice bureau. They keep ringing from different mobile numbers - I’ve had about four calls this week alone from different numbers. So frustrating!!!
