I told them straight away that I didn’t have any debts, but they kept insisting I was being rude and wanted me to say sorry. I explained that I wasn’t rude, just clearing up their mistake about the debt. Then they started saying they’d take whatever action they wanted against me. When I asked what kind of action, all they said was to “wait and see”. To me, that call felt like a threatening spam call.11 yearsGot a call on my home phone from someone saying they were from Citizens Advice. They sounded like they were from India or somewhere nearby and oddly, they already knew my name. The person claimed I owed money on unsecured loans and catalogue accounts, and said they could assist me. I quickly told them I had no debts like that and ended the call.
