I got a message claiming to be from HSBC too, but I didn’t dare open it, figured it’s probably best not to risk it.

Received a text from +44 7771189603 claiming it was HSBC saying a new payee setup was done from a device they don’t know. It asked me to approve or cancel the request through some link like [#]payees-request[###]/hsbc. I checked the link but McAfee flagged it as risky. Also, I’ve never even had an account with HSBC, so definitely a scam.
