Every time I pick up, they ring off straight away. Any ideas? I ain’t keen on buying some number blocker, it feels like a waste of cash I just don’t have.

I've had this number ring me a few times now. The person claims their manager is worried about some unpaid debt I apparently owe, which isn't true - I don’t have any debts hanging over me. What really gets me is they keep calling right when I'm expecting important calls, then get rude and just hang up. I'm thinking about getting one of those call blockers to sort this out.

i got a call from some place called debt advisory. the guy kept messing up my name the entire time. when i asked multiple times where they had gotten "my info" from, he wouldn't say unless i gave them personal info to "verify who i was". they wanted things like my bank name, how long i've been with them, and my sort code. i just ended the call.

I had a call from this number earlier today on my home phone. But when I rang it back, it said the number isn’t in service anymore. So, I’ve just gone ahead and blocked it.

I received a call from this number claiming to be from a credit fraud department. They then proceeded to insist that we had some unresolved debts. I firmly told them that this wasn't the case, and just like that, they hung up on me. Quite peculiar, really!
