In the past few days, my old mum has fallen victim to a couple of scams. Sadly, she didn’t manage to catch the number this time because the call came through on her landline, and she got another call right after, so she couldn’t jot it down. It seems spot on with the ones others have reported here. Someone rang claiming to be from her phone company, saying her account was compromised and they needed info to sort it out. At one point, they even asked for the model of her computer.

Got a call from some bloke named Jwack Weelson - claimed my computer had a virus and told me to hit ctrl and the letter rrrr to open Teamviewer. If you check her out on Facebook, you'll see she’s got a massive house and fancy cars, but none of it’s from a proper job.
