I get calls from these guys all the time, always saying something about CAB. Thing is, I’m with a financial firm and CAB calls us regularly for clients, so it's pretty confusing. Watch out though, these folks are scammers and could steal your information to commit identity fraud. Stay safe!

Got a call first thing on a Saturday from someone with an accent, saying they were from Citizens Advice - this has happened loads before, but from different phones every time. When I said the person they wanted had passed away, they just ended the call.

A bloke called himself Shane Jones and claimed he was ringing from Citizen Advice UK, not the CAB like you'd expect - unless you’re calling from somewhere like India. Honestly, I never got what he really wanted, he kept trying to convince me he wasn’t a scammer, but I ended up hanging up. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from this number, a woman claiming to be from Craddock Investigating Services. She told me I owed some debt and started rattling off the usual spiel. I asked "Who exactly do I owe money to?" but she just brushed it off. I repeated myself a bit louder, "Who do I owe money to?" eventually she muttered something about Barclays and Nat West. I told her straight up, "I don’t owe anyone a penny," then she just hung up on me. Watch out for this one.
