Got a dodgy recorded message supposedly from Amazon, sayin they charged me £399. To cancel or chat, press 1 it said. The way they said “Amazon” sounded really off, like “ameezzon” or something. Plus, I don’t even have an Amazon account, so it was obvious nonsense. No name was called out and it came from a mobile number, which makes it clear it’s a scam. Had the same ring on my phone and also from some foreign number too. Total waste of time!
