They told me it was a scam and that loads of people had reported getting the same call with exactly the same message. Definitely tried phishing me!

Just received a dodgy call claiming that a payment of £600 had been processed on our credit card from abroad. I decided to ring up our bank using the number listed on their official site, not the one from the call. They assured me it was a phishing attempt and mentioned they had already received similar reports from others describing the same spiel. Best to stay alert!
