Got a text saying I could get £276.88 in my bank if I filled out some link. Tried to reply, but the number said it’s not in service. Pretty clear it’s a scam. Anyone know if there’s a way to see where they got my mobile from? The sender’s number was +447388085634.

so this person keeps ringing me up saying ive got money set aside for me or something, total scam! honestly, just block the number straight away and report it to the cops each time you get a call from them. maybe then they’ll sort it out. seriously, watch out for these dodgy calls!

Got a call from someone saying they were with Nationwide Building Society, but the info they gave was super vague. They rung me on my mobile - bit odd if it’s really from Nationwide, you’d think they’d use a work number. Sounds like they were just trying to suss out some info. Times must be rough if even Nationwide staff are calling from their personal phones, lol.

Got a call about some so-called accident claim, they kept pushing me to click a link and hand over my bank info. Definitely a scam, so glad I didn’t fall for it.
