Got a call from an automated voice saying something about "his majesties, revenue and customs" then it just cut off. I tried ringing back since the number looked legit but it just went to a Vodafone voicemail. I checked with HMRC myself and they told me it’s probably a scam trying to sound official. So if you get an automated call claiming to be HMRC, be careful - unless you’re expecting one and it’s a real person asking for info, it’s likely a con. HMRC don't use recorded messages like that.
