If you find yourself considering this particular company, I strongly recommend steering clear. This is a tiny operation that is neither registered as a business nor holds any business insurance, and there’s absolutely no guarantee attached to the work they claim to provide. After spotting their profile on Gumtree, I naively engaged their services, only to later discover, through a bit of digging into their claimed addresses, that the images they flaunt are complete fabrications. The actual work was performed by a different firm altogether! The quality of the work carried out for me was shockingly poor and simply unacceptable. Frankly, I believe I could have achieved a far better result had I the time to do it myself! When I approached him to sort out the mess, he simply up and vanished, changing his number and leaving me in the lurch. Please, don’t fall into the same trap I did by paying upfront. He’s full of excuses to extract cash from you-claiming he needs petrol for his van, saying he’s short on materials, or that he’s left his wallet at home. This was just a minor job, yet no legitimate company would ever demand payment upfront for anything, particularly for such a small task. His punctuality is appalling, working just a few hours each day and dragging the whole process out for weeks on end. Ultimately, I was forced to hire a reputable firm to sort out the shoddy work at double the cost. If anyone recognises the individuals in the pictures, I’d appreciate a heads-up via email. Their actual names and addresses would be invaluable. I’ve already reported them to the authorities and trading standards, and I'm contemplating taking them to small claims court to recover a portion of my funds.
