Just got a message saying something like "Dad, if you see this pls reply, I texted last night and no answer, when you get this save the number and tell me, I’m on this temp phone atm, my screen’s broken so using an old phone, tried my sim but no signal since it’s locked to another network." Thing is, I’m a woman and don’t have any kids at all!

This is a scammer trying to get my attention. Dad, if you happen to see this, please give me a shout. I messaged you yesterday evening but didn’t get any response. When you see this message, could you save the number and let me know? At the moment I’m using a temporary phone since my screen’s busted. I tried sticking my SIM in an old phone to prove it’s me, but there’s no signal because that phone’s locked to a different provider.
