Somebody from this mobile number rang me claiming I’m bankrupt and that messages are going out asking for food money, all linked to my Windows licence supposedly getting cancelled tomorrow if I don’t follow his orders. It made me proper angry, so I told him to do something that just couldn’t happen. When will these daft scams end and someone actually catch these muppets? Really gets on my nerves.

This lady, with an Asian accent, claimed she was from Windows and told me to get on my computer and follow her steps because apparently someone was sending dodgy messages from my IP address, trying to scam folks out of cash. When I asked her to tell me what my IP address was, she said she couldn’t. I told her straight up she was the scammer, plus she had my home address wrong and didn’t know my number was ex-directory. Then she just hung up!

Got a call from 07769268541 at about 4.20pm today. The caller asked me to confirm my name (which they already knew) and my address (also already known). When I asked the man, who had an Asian accent, who he was working for, he said it was Windows Customer Support. I felt something was off, so I ended the call pretty quickly.

Even tho im on the TPS, i still get loads of calls, sometimes like 7 in one day. This last one kept ringing non stop. You'd think they could track these and make em stop, especially cos they keep ringing older folk. This lady called, asking for me by name and claiming she was from Windows. She kept pressing me about why I hadn’t replied to their emails. When I told her it was obviously a scam, she started shouting and said if something went wrong with my computer, it’d be my own fault. I then asked her to sing a song for me, and she just hung up. Funny thing is, asking for a song seems to work on these annoying scam callers - they always hang up!

Same old thing really. Apparently I’m firing off emails begging for £90 to loads of folks. Told the caller I was hoping they’d get their act together and cough up quick, ‘cause I’m not doing it for fun. Then I let them know it was a scam. Had the exact same issue like many here, a scam call. Some bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft’s Tech Support, saying they’d been trying to reach me for a couple of weeks about my computer being hacked. Then he asked me to jot down a serial number. I just told him bye and ended the call. He called back two more times but I let it go straight to voicemail. Hopefully he catches on that I’m not falling for it!

Got a call earlier from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was calling from Windows. She said my computer had been hacked and that there was some illegal stuff linked to it. Spoke to a polite Asian gentleman who asked for someone, I said I was just looking after them as they were unwell in bed. He then asked if they had a computer, I said I wasn't sure. Just got a call from this number, the bloke claimed he was with Windows Support and said my computer was infected and needed fixing immediately. When I questioned him, he said he was linked to Microsoft but couldn’t say which of my devices was the problem or what OS I was running. He gave me a contact number 01619326141, yet my phone showed 07769268541. I kept him on the line as long as possible, just wasting his time until he got annoyed and said he was finishing his shift and would ring back tomorrow. I’m going to leave some reviews about that Manchester number and block both now.

Got a call from this number earlier - a guy with an Asian accent asking for me by name. I asked who he was, and he said something about "computer licensing". I knew straight away it was a scam so I kept him chatting for a bit, then told him I don’t own a computer or laptop, just a phone. He sounded like he lost interest and hung up. No idea why. I'm so fed up with these calls. Now I just pretend to go along with their whole "let me log into your computer to fix the problem" routine. I act all thankful and keep thanking them like I'm really grateful for their help, doing everything they ask. The best bit is when they ask if I’ve logged in yet and I say, "No, I can't find my computer." Then I add, "Oh wait, that's why - I don't have a computer!" They just hang up straight away.
