Loads of cold calls keep coming through, and I have no clue who’s passed on my number to them. It’s always the same pattern - a local mobile number shows up, rings twice, then cuts off without leaving any voicemail or useful message. Honestly, my go-to has been to just let it ring out, then block the number. I’m hoping, probably in vain, that eventually the law will crack down on these liars and scammers who trick people and cause so much unnecessary misery. Whoever you are, stop wasting my time and others’!

Got a call from this number about a so-called ‘free’ boiler they’re offering. They said they got my info from the DWP or something. Sounds like one of those scam things to me.
