The calls coming from 0776926 with loads of different endings are a right pain - definitely scammers. The earliest one that used to bug me ended with 3430, and just today I got a call from one finishing in 4412. Just remember the first 7 digits and block anything from these lot, cos they’re just trying to con you. I always jot down the numbers, never pick up if it’s not someone I know, then check them out on sites like this. Otherwise, just hang up straight away - that’s all they’re worth. Never get drawn into a chat with them, it’s just a waste of time.

Got a missed call from this number earlier, no voicemail or anything left. I looked it up here and turns out it’s already on the blacklist.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, talking about my window service and threatening to close my account. Another one of those annoying nuisance calls.

Got a ring around 11 in the morning, sounded like one of those typical scam calls. I answered, there was that awkward silence, then a woman asked if I was actually me. Next thing she’s launching into the usual script about whether I’ve got a computer. I just ended the call straight away. These kinds of calls are really annoying, someone seriously needs to do something about them.

I got a call from a man and a woman with Indian accents, claiming my computer was hacked through Windows. They asked for cash to fix the problem. They called me again today. I’ve been getting calls like this a few times over the last couple of months. Watch out, it’s definitely a scam!

I got a call from a really loud, pushy lady with an Indian accent, claiming she needed to 'fix my computer' because of some Windows issue. When I asked where she was calling from, she said Manchester and gave me an address and contact number. Then I asked for a callback number, and suddenly she went quiet before just hanging up. Definitely a sketchy call, with way too much bravado - I can see how people not so savvy might get tricked by her.

I got a ring from a bloke who said his name was Antony or something like that, sounded quite English. He started off by telling me my name and where I live, then wanted me to say if it was right. After that, he launched into the typical rubbish about my Windows PC having a virus and warning me my account would be cut off. I just hung up on him straight away.

I’m surprised these calls haven’t stopped yet! Got one myself just yesterday, and they said they'd call me again on Monday. Guess I’m not the only one dealing with this annoyence.

Had a woman with an Eastern European accent ring me up saying she was from Microsoft Windows Licensing, going on about my licence being on the verge of cancellation and all that typical nonsense. I decided to humour her for a bit and mentioned I was right at my computer while chatting. She sounded pretty chuffed. That was until I threw in how surprised I was that Microsoft cared so much about my Apple Mac! That seemed to shut her up pretty quick.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the Windows Licensing team, asking all sorts of questions. I quickly told them to **** off and hung up right away. I’ve already reported the call to Ofcom and the Police fraud line. Honestly, it’s high time these scammers, who are just pests, got what they deserve!

They claimed to be from Microsoft, trying to get me to let them take control of my laptop. They keep insisting they never ask for cash, but somehow it always ends up that way. They told me my laptop was getting hacked, which wasn’t true at all. Such a hassle and I just didn’t want to give them the time of day - proper annoying.

Someone claimed to be from Microsoft and said they needed access to my laptop. They keep insisting they don’t ask for payment, but eventually they want money anyway. They told me my laptop is under some kind of hack, which is complete rubbish. Such a hassle to deal with, just wish they’d stop bothering me - super annoying.

Someone claiming to be from Microsoft called me up saying my laptop was at risk and they needed to take control of it. They keep insisting they never ask for payment, but then they always try to get some cash in the end. There was no hack going on, just a load of hassle. I didn't want to encourage them by listening too much, but it was properly annoying.

Got a call from someone saying they were Microsoft, telling me my iPad licence had run out and I had to pay to renew it. Obviously, that’s totally bogus. They said they were based in Manchester too. Definitely steer clear of that one!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Windows, this was the second time she rang. She asked why I hadn’t responded to her alerts about my Windows account, and weirdly, she even knew my exact address. When I requested she send me an email to my official Windows account, she just ended the call. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it!

Kept ringing me up, going on about my IP being hacked or something, and insisted I turn on my computer. Then said if I wanted them to come to Manchester to sort it out, there’d be a fee of about £100 for updating the software. Best to steer clear of these lot.
