someone rang me up and actually knew my name and phone number. i didn’t give away my name and asked them who they wanted to speak to. they said something about “windows”, but i told them this call was against the law and ended the call right away.

some bloke called alex chen from windows tried to get into my pc. he said his number was 01619326132 and claimed to be based in manchester. I tried calling but the number’s dead. definitely dodgy.

Got a call from a lady speaking with an accent from the Indian subcontinent, saying something about a license for my computer. I told her straight off that computers don’t require any licences and just ended the call. If it was something urgent, surely she would have tried again, but never heard from her after that.

Got a call from this number the other day, some guy with a foreign accent told me my name was being used in emails asking for money. He then tried to convince me to turn on my computer, but I didn’t fall for it.
