On 24 April, I got two calls one after the other around 12:44, with an automated voice claiming to be from HMRC saying I owed VAT and that legal action was imminent. I just ended the call straight away and blocked the number, plus reported it as suspicious. Checked my Govt Gateway today and there’s no VAT debt at all, so I’m pretty sure this was just a scam trying to scare me.
