I got a robo call twice today from some automated voice threatening to suspend my NI number and say I’d be arrested. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to talk to some officer or whatever. Proper annoying!

Like lots of others have said, this caller claims her name is Maddie and says she can help us get jobs. I'm not sure exactly what the con is, but it’s probably one or more of these: you call the number and end up with a huge phone bill; or you pay them hoping to land a job, but no work comes through and you’ve wasted your money; or they’re trying to scam your bank details out of you.
