I got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC saying I owed taxes and there was an arrest warrant out for me. Just ignore them and block the number straight away. They're scammers trying to scare you.

Got this letter about helping me get hold of some money supposedly left by a Ukrainian millionaire to his son here in the UK. Sounded dodgy straight away, total scam if you ask me!

My dad got a message saying he’d won £850,000. Oddly enough, it was originally sent using my late mum’s name.

Got a letter saying I'd won some lottery cash, but I've never even played the lottery before! Figured it was a scam, so I didn't bother phoning them back.

So, I got this letter telling me I’d won a whopping £825,000. Sounds a bit fishy, right? Every single “winner” apparently gets the same exact sum, which is a big red flag if you ask me. Honestly, it’s just one of those classic scams - nothing’s free in this world like they say! Just thought I’d share so others don’t get caught out. Cheers, Roy Partridge. Mobile: 07768980267, landline: 02030007916.

Got this letter claiming I’d bagged a whopping £825,000 - seemed a bit too good to be true. Funny how every winner seems to get the exact same prize, right? Definitely don’t get fooled by this nonsense, it’s the classic “no free lunch” trick. Cheers, Roy Partridge. Ring me on 07768980267 or 02030007916 if you want to chat.

Never got a call, just a letter saying we’d won £825,000.00 in the FIFA lottery. Definitely a scam.

I never actually got a call from these numbers. Instead, I received a letter saying I won some online lottery linked to the FIFA World Cup, with a prize of £835,000,000. It asked me to ring a number to claim the money but since I never bought any lottery ticket, it was obvious to me that it’s a scam. So, I didn’t bother calling either 0776 898 0267 (a mobile) or the landline 020 3000 7916.

Got a letter saying I'd won £825,000 in some FIFA World Cup lottery and they wanted me to ring this mobile number. Sounds a bit sketchy to me, especially for older folks who might believe it. Feels really dodgy, so I'm flagging it as risky.

Just got a call from some international FIFA World Cup lottery saying I won £825,000.00 and to call this number to get it. Sounds fishy to me, no way I’m falling for that.

Just got a call saying I won the international FIFA World Cup lottery or something like that, but I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. They kept pushing me to send money before I could claim the prize. Definitely dodgy, watch out!
