Got a call today claiming it was Amazon, saying someone had made purchases with my info. Thing is, I’ve probably only bought from Amazon a couple of times ever. Would Amazon really call from a mobile number and leave an automated message? Seems fishy to me. Honestly, Amazon should really start cracking down on these scammers - it just puts a bad spin on their reputation. They only need to catch one of these fraudsters good and shout it from the rooftops, letting people know they’re onto the scammers out there pretending to be Amazon.
