This morning I received a call from this number asking about a supposed credit card payment for an overseas transfer of around £700. They wanted me to press a button to verify or reject the payment. I didn’t press anything and ended the call straight away. I then rang my bank to check and they said no such call or transaction was logged. Feels like one of those scams where if you press a key, they add charges to your phone bill. I’ve blocked the number now.
