Some bloke rang up claiming to be from the High Court, saying he needed access to the house to seize goods for some court debt. He sounded quite intimidating at first, but I told him he was actually ringing a work number for the person he wanted. After that, he said he’d try another number and hung up. I tried dialling back, but the number didn’t exist - just a fake. It’s obvious these scammers are trying to scare folks into paying money they don’t owe. If an elderly or vulnerable person got this call, they’d be proper worried. I’m definitely reporting it to the police.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from some law enforcement agency, saying there’s a court order against me for £3000. They called me but you’re not allowed to call them back. I’ve already reported it to Action Fraud. Sounds like a fresh scam going around, so watch out for it.
