Received the same message multiple times, all with the same content. Interestingly, they say “yes” and “stop” in the text. This has absolutely nothing to do with any insurance matter; it simply feels like a ploy to squeeze cash out of unsuspecting folks. Especially when they're bombarding you with SMS texts that cost a staggering £1.50 per minute!

I've received a rather peculiar text earlier this evening at around twenty past eight, dated the 20th of September, 2009. It mentioned something about me possibly being eligible for a compensation of £3750 due to an incident I was involved in. They suggested that I could easily make a claim without any cost by replying with a 'YES'. If not interested, I could simply text 'STOP' to remove myself from their list. Quite the odd message, and I've promptly opted out of it!

If I wish to decline, I should text STOP. It raised my eyebrows, though - why use the term "pounds" instead of the symbol? Seems dodgy, especially since we haven’t had any incidents in ages!
