Got a text with a link asking me to provide my card info to reschedule a delivery and make a payment. Even though the website showed a padlock in the URL bar, it’s nothing to do with Royal Mail. The tracking number they gave only works with Parcelforce, and even they couldn’t confirm where the package actually was. If you want to check the parcel’s status, use the Royal Mail site directly and don’t trust the app from that link. If you enter your details there, they might use them later to make random charges from your bank account without your permission.
