Total scam alert. Right away I had my doubts. Some robotic voice claimed it was Visa, saying there was a suspicious charge of £900 on my account and asked me to press 1 to speak to someone. I just hung up straight away. I’m well aware my bank always double-checks big transactions like that to protect me from fraud, plus I hadn’t authorised any payment close to that sum.
