Got a text said it was from Royal Mail but they wrote it as Royalmail. Said I got a parcel that couldn't be delivered and to click a link. Didn't trust it at all and just marked it as spam.

got a call from some asian guy saying he was from nationwide. but i know they don’t ring you from a mobile number. when i asked what dept he was from, he just dropped the call on me. fishy if you ask me.

I picked up this number thinking it might be my lad on a mate’s phone. The bloke asked if I was (and he gave my name), I said I was. Then he mentioned my address, which creeped me out. When I asked who he was, he just hung up straight away! What can you even do with people like that? He knew all my details already, but I’ve blocked the number now. Any tips on what to do next?

Didn't leave anything on the voicemail, which is a dead giveaway that it's probably a scam or one of those call centres. I never pick up when I don't know the number now. Blocked it straight away.

Twice now this number has rung me, but no message was ever left. When I tried to call back, it said I'd got the wrong number or something. Really fishy if you ask me!

I got two calls from this number and both times as soon as I picked up, there was just a beep and then it ended. Pretty unsettling, especially as I'm on my own.

some bloke with an indian accent rang up asking me to verify my postcode and name, then went on trying to get my address as well. when i asked him what the call was about, he just cut me off straight away.

Someone rang me up asking to verify my name, which I did. Then they wanted my postcode, so I asked where they were calling from. They said they were from Nationwide Building Society. When they asked for my postcode once more, I questioned the reason for the call, and then they just ended the call. I don't even have an account with Nationwide!
