He basically couldn’t care less, as long as the rent lands in his pocket. There’s all sort of mess going on in his flats - noise all the time, folks coming and going at all hours. Neighbours keep moaning about the chaos, the shouting, and even fights breaking out. When people have complained, he’s just brushed it off like it’s nothing. Doesn’t seem to give a toss at all.

Avoid Richard Metcalf if you can, he's a terrible landlord. He doesn’t follow the proper steps and just barges into your home without asking. Yeah, he owns the place, but surely he still needs to arrange a time with you before showing up unannounced? Just had this happen to me, really wrong behaviour.

Richard’s a rubbish landlord, honestly. I saw him mentioned on that show ‘Nightmare Landlords’ on Channel 5, and it was all bad news. People have been accusing him of some dodgy stuff, like fraud. He really couldn’t care less about his tenants.

I work night shifts as a nurse, so I always switch off the doorbell to get some proper rest. One night, I honestly thought someone was breaking in, so I called the police out of fear. But it turned out my landlord had let himself in and used my bathroom without asking me at all. I told him I wanted to move out after that, and then he hit me with this extra rent charge, calling it some "ghost rent" - an extra £45 a month for 20 months! Honestly, this guy really should be looked into.
