I got a call earlier from 07766866883 on my mobile, and the person told me £900 was about to be taken off my visa debit card. Honestly, it's just a scam. By the way, I'm based in Rugby.

I got a call from this number saying I had an outstanding bill with my internet company and that my connection would be disconnected soon. When I tried to question it, a woman on the phone rudely told me to be quiet.

Somebody called me saying my "washing machine insurance needs renewing". I told them I don’t even own a washing machine and just go to the local laundrette to wash my clothes.

So this bloke rings me up saying my washing machine insurance needs renewing. I told him I don’t have a washing machine at all, never have, as I just use the laundrette nearby. Guess he wasn’t expecting that!

Got nonstop calls about PPI, like 40 times in just 3 days - proper annoying! Ended up blocking the number and even reported it to the police.

For the past three days, this bloke keeps ringing me up, asking for my missus by name. Every time I ask him what he wants with her, he just hangs up on me. It's happened about five times now, and I haven’t got a clue what’s going on.

So this bloke asked for my bank info on the phone, said it was about some PBA thing. I wasn’t having any of it, gave him rubbish sort code and account number instead. Definitely don’t trust these calls! Just made up some details and moved on. Avoid them for sure!

Got a call from an Indian bloke who said he knew my name and claimed I had some sort of unsecured debt that needed sorting. I quickly ended the call, but this number has rung me like 8 times over the last couple of days. After seeing the reviews here, I’m definitely gonna block it now.

Got a call today where they asked for me by name and said I was due a refund from my bank. They tried to confirm my address and then asked for my birthday. I told them to say my birthday first since they should have it if they really had my details, but then they just hung up. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from a man claiming to be ‘John’, sounded like he was Asian. He was trying to push life insurance on me. I reckon it’s linked to those PPI scams where they share your info like your name and number around. Never ever hand over your bank details on a call, and if you really need to call back, use a phone that wasn’t the one that just got the sketchy call. Stay safe!

kept getting calls from them even after i said i didnt want any more. they wanted my sort code, bank account and other details to "refund" me £1500, they already had my address and stuff. told them to just post me something but they said they couldn’t. total scam, blocked the number now.

Someone rang me up and actually used my name, said I was owed a refund. But then they said I had to sign up for a life insurance policy and pay two months' fees with any provider before I could get it. Sounded dodgy to me.

I got a call from someone saying they were from a life insurance firm. When I told them I’m already covered and not interested, they just laughed and actually called me stupid. So, I lost it, called them a right nasty name and hung up straight away. Total scam, watch out!

Got a ring from this number earlier. The guy had a heavy foreign accent and kept trying to say my name but messed it up completely. When I asked what the call was about, he just blurted out "money, PPI". Told him I wasn’t interested and ended it there.

They actually knew my name when they called, then asked if I was interested in life insurance. I told them I wasn’t and made it clear I don’t take unsolicited calls, demanding they take my number off their list. They muttered something rude before just hanging up. This was on 18/08/2018 around 12:05pm.
