They rang me but didn't pick up when I answered back. Then when I tried calling again, the phone was dead. It's quite odd, I was detained over the weekend so the earlier complaint about a DWP scam really caught my attention. Honestly, it sounds like something dodgy and linked to some international crime. Considering my circumstances, I'd seriously tell the police to look into it, especially if the call was made a couple of months back.

Got a text from this number saying it was from the DWP about a cold weather payment claim for 2024 - 2025 I never applied for. Seems dodgy to me, probably a scam so best to stay clear.
