Just got a message saying they’ve got info about my PPI claim and how much I’m owed. They asked me to text back 'post' to get the details sent or 'stop' if I don’t want to hear from them anymore. Bit confusing but sounds like one of those usual PPI follow-ups.

i got a text saying they’d been trying to get hold of me about a ppi claim. it said to reply ‘post’ if i wanted to find out what i might be owed, or ‘stop’ if i wanted to opt out. problem is, i’m already expecting news about a ppi claim, so i’m not sure if this is some sort of scam or legit. i called the number from my landline and left a voicemail, but i haven’t heard back yet. honestly, it’s a bit confusing right now.

Received a message at 18:02 from the number 07766743821 about PPI. The text stated: 'Our team has been attempting to reach you concerning your PPI claim. Just to clarify, I don’t have any claim in place, and I’m unsure whether to respond with STOP, worrying it might incur some costly fee or something. Has anyone taken the plunge and responded? Received a message that read: The banks are issuing refunds to clients who’ve been charged for packaged accounts. To reclaim your money, respond with BANK or to stop further messages, reply with Stop. - If you receive this, don’t engage. It strikes me as rather dubious. Has anyone else been in a similar boat? Does anyone have the scoop on whose number this is or its origin?

I recently received a message from this number indicating they've been attempting to reach me concerning an unpaid PPI claim, which I can assure you I don't possess. Seems to me like it's one of those pesky PPI firms trying their luck!
