BEWARE OF SCAMMERS!!! Somebody rang me saying there was a £700 Apple phone bought on my Amazon account. When I asked for the account holder’s name, they gave me a completely different name, one that I’ve had scam calls about for ages. I told them I knew they were trying to scam me, and the person instantly hung up. NEVER SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFO WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! AND DON’T LET THEM GET INTO YOUR PHONE!!

I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who said his name was John. He spoke really slowly and asked if I was having problems with my computer or getting error messages. I told him no. Then he said I should go on Google and type my IP address into the search bar. I wasn’t interested and ended the call. He rang back a couple more times but we didn’t pick up. He said he was from British Telecom, but I’m pretty sure it’s called Openreach these days, isn’t it?
