Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she needed me to confirm a text to verify my Amazon account. She said I'd be charged £79.99 for an Amazon Prime membership. Before she spoke, there was an automated message telling me about the charge and that if I hadn’t made the order, I should press 1 to cancel. Feels dodgy to me. I haven’t even used Amazon since 2021.
