These scammers are well dodgy. They said it was some HSBC alert about a new payee, but I don’t even have an account with them so I just ignored the link and didn’t tap on anything. Definitely a con job.

I got a call from someone saying they were HSBC and told me a new payee was added to my account. They asked me to click on a link if I didn't do it myself. Problem is, I've never even had an account with HSBC!
