Got a call on the 24th August from someone claiming "There was a payment try from a new device on mobile banking…". I don’t bank with HSBC, so I ignored it. If I had answered, I’m sure they’d ask for all my banking info under the guise of "checking" or "fixing" the issue or maybe "giving a refund". Wish people would be careful and not get caught out by these scams.

Got a message saying HSBC noticed activity on a new phone, but I’ve never been a customer with them or even know anyone who banks there. Seems dodgy to me.
