Just got a text from someone pretending to be Royal Mail saying I had a parcel waiting. Didn't click anything cause seemed dodgy. Be careful, looks like one of those scams going round!

Got a text saying it was from Royal Mail demanding a fee to settle or else my parcel would be sent back. The link looked dodgy, thankfully Chrome flagged it with a warning. It said something like “deceptive site ahead” and warned that this royalpay-postage[###] site could try to get you to do risky stuff like giving out passwords or credit card details. Glad I didn’t click through.

Got a message pretending to be from Royal Mail saying my parcel was stuck and I had to pay £2.99 to stop it being sent back. Obviously, just a dodgy scam, nice try though!

I just got a text from 447765129277 and it really seems dodgy. The message says it’s from Royal Mail saying I’ve got a parcel waiting and I need to pay £2.99 to collect it. Sounds like a typical scam to me, so I wouldn’t trust it at all.
