twice this week ive had a man with an asian accent ring me up on separate numbers, both times saying hes from some debt collection agency. sounded like the same bloke both times so i told him i already spoke to him yesterday and told him i dont owe anything. then he said he wasnt calling about debts but just told me to **** off! defo not the way i expected to start my morning today.

Got a call from some Asian guy claiming he was with the National Debt Firm. He asked me how much I was paying on my loans. I told him I ain't got any debts, then he just cut me off. What's creepy is he actually knew my name.

Got an email about wiping out debts, sounded way too good to be true with some government plan mentioned. They wanted me to send over personal details, sounded fishy. When I asked for more info, got told to buzz off. Number’s blocked now, dodgy call for sure.

Some bloke with an Asian accent called himself Josh and claimed to be from a government programme that wipes out like 60% of your unsecured debts or loans. He kept saying there was no pressure and it was up to me when to sign the forms. I didn’t want to share my address, so I just ended the call. Not long after, the same number called me again.
